Terms of use: Stintwell for Law Firms

These terms are an agreement between you and Stintwell LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Stintwell," "we").

1. Who may use it. You must be 18 or older and use the plugin for a law firm's business, either as a lawyer or as staff acting for a firm. It is not for personal, family or household use.

2. Accepting these terms. You accept these terms by checking the box at sign-up. We record when you accepted and which version you accepted.

3. What you may do. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Stintwell for Law Firms within Claude for your own firm's business. Claude loading the plugin's instructions into your conversations is permitted use.

4. What you may not do. You may not do any of the following with the plugin's instructions:

copy, share, post, sell, sublicense or extract them;
rework them into any product, template, course or service of your own, whether you do it yourself or have an AI rewrite, summarize or reproduce them.

If a colleague wants access, have them sign up. Each account is for one person.

5. Your work product. Plans, budgets and drafts you produce for your firm with the plugin are yours to use in your firm. Section 4 covers the plugin's instructions and methods, not your firm's results.

6. Feedback. We may use any suggestions you send without obligation to you.

7. Price and changes. The plugin is free to use today. We may introduce paid plans or features later; we will tell you before that happens, and we will never charge you unless you separately agree to the price and payment terms at that time. Features may change or be withdrawn.

8. Not legal, ethics, tax or financial advice. Stintwell is not a law firm. The plugin covers the business of running a law firm. It gives no legal advice, ethics opinions, or tax, accounting, investment or employment advice. Using it creates no lawyer-client or other professional relationship with Stintwell or anyone associated with it.

When a question involves trust accounting, fee sharing, communications with a regulator, a client matter or state law, the plugin directs you to your own ethics counsel and does not answer the question. You remain responsible for complying with the professional-conduct rules that apply to you, including supervising the tools you use and protecting client confidences. For tax, payroll or employment questions, consult a qualified professional.

9. Confidential information. Do not enter client names, confidential client information or facts about a matter. What you type is processed by Anthropic under your Claude account's terms, not ours. Check your Claude data settings, including whether your chats may be used to train models.

10. No warranty. THE PLUGIN IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. AI OUTPUT CAN BE WRONG. CHECK NUMBERS AND RULES BEFORE YOU ACT; THE DECISIONS ARE YOURS.

11. Limitation of liability. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS: (a) STINTWELL AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS AND CONTRACTORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR CLIENTS; (b) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE PLUGIN OR THESE TERMS IS THE GREATER OF WHAT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US$100. This does not limit liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

12. Privacy. Our Privacy Policy (https://sbos.stintwell.com/law-firm/privacy) explains what we collect and forms part of these terms.

13. Ending access. You may stop using the plugin and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access at any time, with notice where practical. Sections 4–6, 10, 11, 15 and 16 survive.

14. Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. For material changes, we will email you at least 14 days before they take effect. Using the plugin after that date means you accept the changes. If you don't accept them, stop using the plugin and ask us to delete your account.

15. Law and disputes. Florida law governs, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction, and both parties consent to it. Either party may seek an injunction to protect intellectual property in any competent court.

16. General. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stands. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in a merger or sale of the business. We may send notices to your account email.

17. Anthropic. Stintwell is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Anthropic, PBC. Claude and Anthropic are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC. Anthropic is not a party to these terms.
